Not pathetic, just a big waste of money. Unless you're a high end GvGer and want multiple accounts for smurfing etc.

Just the one account. I've got all the collector editions etc added to it and space for 10 characters, which is everything I want really.

The dual accounting sounds interesting... I used to do that in DAoC because buffbots were so prevalent and ironically my sylvan druid "buffbot" on the second account became my main character after Trials of Atlantis went live because ToA made it possible to have a playable healing druid while still maxing out the boring but necessary buffs! xD

In DAoC anyway, there were no account wide things to worry about (each character could be in a different guild etc) so I didn't have much to worry about with multiple accounts... I just had to make sure I never needed to pair two characters from the same account and I was ok. In Guild Wars though, an account is much more significant... lots of things are shared across the account by all my characters so things are a bit different. I'm glad I have everything on the one account.

Still, a second account would be handy for pre-searing (raise 2 LDoA's at once...) and for replacing henchmen forever, but I have no intention of doing it.

Just one account for me. Was given one by a friend with just prof on it. It has prob hit it's 3 year mark already, but I do not remember the damn email account for it so GG.

You could always just open a support ticket and get the email by typing in the CD keys and asking if you can recover you're account email.

Two accounts, one for play and one for storage. Curse Gaile for stating that adding slots would never be implemented....

Only my main has cost me the full amount. 2 of the accounts i got for £5 by trading in a couple of games i bought for 97p from my workplace.
And the others were from people who stopped playing.

2 Accounts for me, 1 is full and is also my main, 2nd one is prophecies only I keep it as storage mainly but I also have an Ele with all ele skills and equipment.

I only have one and it wouldnt make much sense to buy a 2nd one after 3 years unless I find a super-cheap offer somewhere for 10€ or less for one game.

Multiple accounts make a lot sense:

1. Only way to be in multiple guilds

2. Xunlai storage for each account plus the storage on each character. You can never have enough storage.

3. Cheaper than buying additional character slots, especially with the compilation packs

4. Want perma-Pre characters then just get a second Prophecies edition (you can open your own gate with dual setup)

5. If you have two computers, set up some characters so that friends can play along with you when visiting, if they don't have GW

6. Very cheap entertainment compared to other games that charge for the game and then $15 per month. At that rate you can buy four Trilogy/Compilation accounts and have 32 characters!

Seems to me as long as you aren't trying to use multiple accounts to defraud someone, ArenaNet/NCSoft would be more than happy to sell you more accounts. If they were really smart they'd lower the price of additional character slots to be more competitive with the street price of the games and add a bit more Xunlai storage for each 4 additional slots you buy, but they make money either way.

Had two accounts but gave one to my sister, originally bought it (proph only) for the xunlai storage, 2 weeks later the storage expanded to 1 tab per campaign... pwned.

I bought another account so I could farming while playing two accounts on the same time with the GWx2 program.
Have to say that its worked really well. I bought a NF account got a derv to UW, I have been farming with my PermaSin and Derv 130hp. This enables me to Farm chaos plains and smites in the same run.
Also, on the weekends I plant my NF derv in Kamadan to sell my stuff, while I play on the other.
It takes awhile to learn to play 2 accnts at the same time but for me its definately more efficient use of my time

Next thing to do will prob be to buy factions, cause I can make another permasin for easy farming X2 of certain areas. Permasins are the best to play 2 accnts with because there is no spamming of buttons unlike the Derv builds or others. In fact I find myself getting very bored if playing on the 1 accnt now

I only have 3. Obtained before the extra character slot option and before Factions.

I use 2 for PvE characters and the 3rd for storage.

Ramma, you may have six accounts, but how many got hacked?

Oh yeah forgot to mention that soon ill have to go and do Zaishen x2, twice the keys, smae amount of time

infact it makes it easier with both lots of Hero's, 1 accnt takes ele, other takes Rngr trapper. 2 keys per day if I can be bothered gettn on each day, which I obviousy dont do.
Lastly, 2 accnts for the Tournaments prediction every month

4 accounts. Due to that I dont have a credit card and dont depend on parents any more, I cant get character slots. Nor do I have friends in this town that wanna lend me theirs. And since I dont live in Germany, UK or that other country (cant remember, anet do something) I cant buy with SMS. SO there are my reasons for having so many accounts.

1 main, all campaigns, 11 slots (bought to me by an old g-leader) - 9 characters.

1 with only nightfall - pvp characters

1 with only prophecies - 4 chars waiting for prezzies

1 with only factions and prophecies - 6 chars waiting for prezzies
